I am a Christian wife, mother, daughter, friend, and business owner.
My loves are many and I endeavor to share them here on my blog.
Art has always been a part of me, an extension of my self….from
making cards and gifts as a child to performing ballet to pursuing a degree in
graphic design to decorating my family’s home.
Beauty inspires me and connects me to something larger than myself. I am most often inspired by the beauty found
in natural objects and strive to enhance that innate beauty with my designs.
When I look at beads and gemstones, I'm as excited as a kid
in a candy store. And when I go to
sleep, it's not visions of sugarplums I see, but adornments of all shapes,
sizes, and colors. It's often in that half-dream state that my designing mind
comes alive.
A degree in Graphic Design coupled with the love and support
of family and friends already familiar with my jewelry designs brought Behind
the Moon Beadworks into reality in 2010.
I strive to create jewelry that showcases the beauty of natural elements

About my work
Jewelry should inspire confidence and joy allowing women to
tackle the world with a sense of invigoration and satisfaction. It should be complimentary to your spirit. Behind the Moon designs are uncomplicated yet
offer a sensitive approach to composition and arrangement. I use a variety of natural materials
including gemstones, glass, wood, and metal to create my distinguished
treasures.
